Second assignment for my Photography Class: Depth of Field.
We had to mess with depth of field ... we focus on one object, and make the the background either blurry (small depth of field) or in focus (large depth of field).
How does that work? Well, if you let in a small[er] amount of light, you get a larger depth of field; more light gives a smaller depth of field. For those who are somewhat camera-savvy: you change the f-stop number ... small f-stop (i.e. 1.8) gives a small depth of field, and a large f-stop (i.e. 16) gives a large depth of field.
By the way, we use black and white negatives/photos, because we only have black and white developing chemicals. ^.^

Well, this was taken in one of the art rooms at my school. For some reason unbeknownst to me, that art teacher has a plastic skull in her classroom. I showed one of my friends this picture, and convinced her that the teacher had a real human skull in her room. It was funny.

This is one of my most favorite pictures I've taken. ^.^
Although, I'm really sad at how this scan came out ... the photograph is so much cleaner/smoother on the print paper ... ;_;
I think it's better if you look at it in small view, actually.
